Pour Over (Kalita)

Grinder: 11 on EK43
Ratio 1:17 (20 grams coffee, 340 mL water)
Water temp approx 199°F
20 g bloom for 30 sec
Pouring water in a circular motion from the outside to start and a straight, gentle stream
100 g pour at 45 sec
100 g pour at 1:30
120 g pour at 2:30
Total Brew time 3:45
Tasting notes: coating mouthfeel, cacao nibs, orange, red apple, honey, floral, brown sugar, cools with notes of honey and lemon. Maintains a slick and coating mouthfeel with lingering bittersweet chocolate flavor.

Brew time 3:45
Water temp approx: 203°F
40 g bloom for 30 sec
Pouring 300 mL water in a continuous pour, circular motion
Open valve at 145
Brew end 3:30
Tasting notes: floral, nutty, sweet, medium body (like whole milk) but not coating, soft malic acidity like pears. Very sweet lingering after taste, like milk chocolate.
